A great time was had by all during the HEMONC Fellowship retreat.  Setting aside time to come together to make our program even stronger proved very successful.




Pediatric Fellowship Conference

The Annual Pediatric Fellow’s Day Conference was held on May 14, 2019.  All pediatric fellowships join together to display their individual research projects they have worked on since beginning fellowship.  Oral, poster, and abstract presentations are presented and judged by faculty from all pediatric departments.  This year, Dr. Douglass accepts his award for Best Oral Presenationour very own Dr. David P. Douglass brought home the Best Oral Presentation Award.  Dr. Douglass has been working diligently on researching Plasma Biomarkers in Anthracycline Cardiotoxicity where he was able to collaborate with the National Center for Toxicology Research.  Dr. Douglass’s project was approved by UAMS IRB and has received partial funding from an ACRI Postdoctoral Fellowship grant award.  CONGRATULATIONS DR. DOUGLASS!!
