The Department of Pediatrics in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences provides exceptional children’s patient care, education, and research. Our mission is to spread and promote medical knowledge appropriate Arkansas Children’s logoto the future of the field of pediatrics through a balanced emphasis on education, research, and health care. Through our partnership with Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, our services include pediatric training, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders, and cutting-edge research on techniques to enhance a child’s home and medical environment.
