I have always been intrigued by disease mechanisms, the medical interventions that result in a healing process. Much more, I thoroughly enjoy learning about ways to provide best patient care and improve healthcare systems.
Things that make me unique are: My first name is 12 letters long and I am so blessed to get the best of both worlds. I spent my entire childhood and a significant portion of my adult life in West Africa. Now, I get to live in such a lovely city!
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: Cook, Bike, and Travel to explore culture n’ history. I really enjoy yoga classes with meditation sessions.

When I study medicine, I most enjoying learning about: rheumatological conditions are definitely my favorite.
Things that make me unique are: throughout college I worked at Hobby Lobby in the framing department. So if you ever need some artwork framed, I could help you with that.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: rock climb, cook, and craft. After a DIY wedding, I’ve discovered my inner artist, and I’m always looking for the next craft I can try.
To get myself motivated I think of: how lucky I am to be a doctor in the United States. For real, I normally just listen to some Bruno Mars and dance, then I end up feeling pretty motivated.
The hours I spend warm and cozy with a book I’m reading: normally something fiction. I like murder mysteries and science fiction.
With popcorn in hand the movie I’m watching is: definitely a comedy. Laughing is my favorite.

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because it’s wonderful and…: the residents were really sweet on my interview day, the facility is beautiful, the faculty are passionate about teaching, and I believe that my training at UAMS will open a lot of doors for me.
