The UAMS Pediatric Psychology Fellowship consists of for four (4) full-time, 12-month positions, with the Fellowship providing 2000 hours of supervised training (which meets Arkansas Psychology Board licensure requirements for postdoctoral training hours).
Areas of training include
- diagnostic interviews, consultation, and brief interventions within outpatient medical subspecialty clinics;
- psychoeducational, developmental, neuropsychological, and behavioral assessment; outpatient psychotherapy;
- and inpatient hospital consultation-liaison.
Training is limited to child and adolescent populations. Specialized populations include individuals with developmental disabilities and pediatric chronic illnesses.
